Upon our initial visit we will evaluate the scope of the project and discuss your ideas and desires for the space. Depending on the project we may ask that you fill out a questionnaire to help us set your priorities and to fully understand what you wish to accomplish. We will then generate a PROPOSAL with a general evaluation of the project, setting rough estimates of cost and allowances. If you already have the plans and have picked your finishes we will move straight to the estimate. However, we find that most times generating a proposal allows for the details to evolve and allow us to really dial into the design you desire. Your PROPOSAL will be emailed from our project management software. By approving the proposal you are only agreeing to the scope of the work and that you would like to move forward with the final design and ESTIMATE.
Now that you have accepted the PROPOSAL we will "sharpen the pencil" and further define the details of the project. This is the time to decide on the final design and materials to be used. We will gladly accompany you to any of our vendors showrooms to help with design items. For items that you are still unsure of we will set allowances into the estimate which allows you the flexibility to make those decisions as the project begins. Should we need to add or subtract for any allowance we will address those with a change order. We will likely want to make final measurements and job notes at this time. At this point we will draw up the final ESTIMATE with a detailed scope of work, allowances, pricing, and an anticipated start date. Once approved we will schedule an appointment with you for the contract signing and to pickup the first installment payment. You will then receive an email with a login and temporary password that allows you access to our project management software. That's right, we have a homeowner portal into our management software so you can be as actively involved as you like. Our project management software has a lot of features you can use and you can find a detailed description about it under the PROJECT MANAGEMENT tab on this web site.
